Trains disrupted after Portsmouth gas leak
Trains have been cancelled following a gas leak near the track in Portsmouth.
The leak happened after a gas main was damaged on a building site in Tangier Road on Friday afternoon.
South West Trains said it was running a reduced and restricted timetable as only diesel trains could run on the track near the site.
Southern Gas Networks spokesman Dennis Kirby said: "We need to check the surrounding area - a lot of gas was released at the time of the damage."
People from about 60 properties had to leave their homes temporarily following the leak.
