Man suffers head injury outside Hampshire pub
A man suffered a "potentially serious" head injury in a disturbance involving a group of people outside a pub in Hampshire, police have said.
The 33-year-old victim was assaulted outside the Colonial bar in Portsmouth Road, Horndean, at about 01:30 GMT.
He was taken to hospital where his condition is described as stable.
A 34-year-old man from Waterlooville arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm without intent has been released on bail.
Anyone with information about the disturbance is asked to contact Hampshire Constabulary.
