A man has been charged after an armed raid at the Hampshire home of a woman who was looking after her baby.

Two men, one with a handgun, burst into her Totton home in Testwood Lane on 22 February and stole money and a mobile phone.

A 34-year-old man, of no fixed abode, has been charged with aggravated burglary and possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

He will appear in court later. A 48-year-old man has been bailed.

He was held on suspicion of aggravated burglary.

Hampshire police said no shots were fired and the child was unharmed, but the woman was cut on the mouth.
