Cigarettes stolen from Fareham Co-op
Police are hunting thieves who raided a Hampshire supermarket and made off with cigarettes worth thousands.
Three men smashed a lower glass panel in the door and climbed through the hole to enter the Co-op in Locks Heath in the early hours of Friday, 2 March.
The cigarette kiosk's shutters were broken and the entire stock of cigarettes put into a builder's bag.
Police have released CCTV footage of the robbery and are appealing for witnesses.
The three men made off in a silver coloured estate vehicle.
DC Katie Wakefield, said: "It is believed that the offenders were also seen acting suspiciously around the Park Gate Co-op at about 4am on 28 February.
"They were spooked by the manager who was in the building doing some work."
