Moped crash victim named as Mark Edwards

Police have named a scooter rider who was killed in a crash with a Royal Mail lorry near junction 4 of the M3.

Mark Edwards, 50, from Camberley in Surrey, died on Thursday when his black moped collided with an articulated lorry on the A331 towards Farnham.

Mr Edwards was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital.

The 52-year-old lorry driver from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and later bailed. He was not hurt.
