Rory Morris charged with murder of wife Deborah

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of his wife on the Isle of Wight.

Police were called to St John's Road, Ryde, on Friday where Deborah Morris, 51, was found dead. She had suffered multiple stab wounds.

Rory Morris, 53, of St John's Road, appeared before magistrates in Newport earlier.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Tuesday for a preliminary hearing.
