Jahmel Jones shooting: Eighth arrest in murder inquiry

An eighth person has been arrested by police investigating a fatal drug-related shooting in Southampton.

Jahmel Jones, 23, died from a bullet wound to the head at a property in St Mary Street on Saturday.

A 22-year-old man is being questioned after being arrested in London. A 20-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman held on Thursday remain in custody.

Police are treating the shooting as murder and believe the victim knew his killer.

CCTV has been released of three men police want to speak to.

The images show the trio walking along Old Northam Road in Southampton at 10:24 BST, just before the shooting.

Three men, aged 41, 21 and 18 and two women, aged 36 and 21, remain on bail.
