Car crashes into A31 Ringwood petrol station

A car has crashed into a petrol station in Hampshire.

It happened at the Texaco garage on the A31 westbound at Ringwood at about 06:30 BST.

Fire crews helped the 26-year-old motorist and her passenger from the car after it hit a petrol pump on the garage forecourt.

The petrol station was closed for several hours while the fire service carried out safety checks on the fuel pumps at the garage.

The driver suffered a minor neck injury and was also treated for shock.
