Southampton park sealed off after sex attack

Watts Park, Southampton The attack took place in Hoglands Park in the early hours of Saturday

A Southampton city centre park has been sealed off after a woman suffered a serious sexual assault.

The 23-year-old was attacked as she walked through Hoglands Park in the early hours.

A section of the park off the A33, Kingsway Road remains cordoned off by police while detectives carry out further investigations.

Police said the victim was being supported by specially trained officers.
