Southampton man Nathan Jones admits sex attack on girl, 16

A man has admitted sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl in a late-night attack in Southampton.

The teenager was attacked while walking home along Lovers Walk, Southampton Common, at about 23:40 BST on 20 August.

Nathan Jones, 31, of Howard Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to sexual assault by penetration, at Southampton Crown Court.

He is due to be sentenced on 29 October.
