Nathan Jones jailed for sex attack on girl, 16

A man who admitted sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl in a late-night attack in Hampshire has been jailed.

The teenager was walking home along Lovers Walk, Southampton Common, on 20 August when she was attacked.

Nathan Jones, 31, of Howard Road, Southampton, was jailed for six years and ordered to pay a £120 victim surcharge at the city's Crown Court.

He was also sentenced to a four-month consecutive sentence for common assault.
