Mystery Isle of Wight woman leaves note on a Jersey WW1 grave

1 November 2013 Last updated at 21:56 GMT

An Isle of Wight woman has left a mystery note on what she said was the World War One grave of her great-grandfather in Jersey.

The note was left for Private George Hanlon supposedly by his great-granddaughter, known only as "Rosie".

A BBC Radio Solent appeal tracked down the soldier's grandson Brian Hanlon from Romsey, Hampshire, but he said he had not heard of Rosie in his family tree research.
