Austin Clark named as man recovered from Eastleigh lake

A man whose body was recovered from a Hampshire lake has been named by Southampton's Coroner's office.

Austin Clark, 28, was seen in the water at Lakeside Country Park, Wide Lane, Eastleigh, on Monday at about 12:30 GMT.

He was pulled from the lake on the 60-acre site of restored gravel works by emergency services and taken to hospital, but later died.

An inquest has been opened and adjourned until 12 February.
