A body discovered at a railway station in Southampton has been identified by police as a 29-year-old Polish man.

Krysztof Miska was found dead on a pathway near Millbrook station on Sunday.

A Hampshire Police spokesman said they were continuing to "investigate the circumstances surrounding the discovery of Mr Miska's body".

They have yet to uncover the exact cause of his death, but they are not treating it as suspicious.

An area around the station was sealed off while a forensic examination was carried out.

The station was closed for several hours and passengers were diverted to Southampton Central, though trains still passed through.
