Man killed in telegraph pole crash near Grayshott

A man was killed when his car left the road and collided with a telegraph pole and tree near Grayshott in Hampshire.

The accident happened at about 21:10 BST on Saturday on the B3002 Headley Road, near to the Grayshott Spa.

The 43-year-old driving the Rover 25 towards Headley Down was the only occupant and no other vehicle was involved.

The road was shut for six hours for investigation and recovery work.

Police have appealed for witnesses.
