Man treated after 'liquid attack' in Lee-on-the-Solent
A man is being treated in hospital after an unknown liquid was thrown in his face during an attack in Lee-on-the-Solent.
Police were called to reports a man had been assaulted by two men on the High Street as he was leaving for work at about 04:00 BST.
The 47-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment. Details of his condition are not yet known.
Specialist resources were deployed to identify the nature of the liquid.
The first suspect has been described by police as tanned, with dark hair, wearing a blue or black tracksuit with a QPR emblem on the left shoulder and white trainers.
The second suspect is described as white, in his late teens, and was wearing blue jeans, and a blue and white striped top under a black bomber jacket.
