CCTV images of a man in a high-visibility vest robbing a Co-op at gunpoint have been released by police.

The store in Clanfield, Hampshire, was targeted at about 21:50 BST on 12 May.

Hampshire Constabulary said a man with a gun took nearly £200 in cash and £139 worth of cigarettes after threatening a staff member.

He was wearing a vest featuring "stay safe" and "customer service" logos, a black balaclava, grey tracksuit bottoms, gloves and black boots.

No-one was hurt and the man drove off in a red Nissan Micra.

DC Hamish Walker said: "I am releasing these images in the hope that someone may recognise the distinctive high visibility vest the suspect was wearing."
