Fair Oak crash: Police appeal for witnesses

Police have appealed for witnesses to a crash that killed a driver and left debris across a stretch of railway line.

The driver, who has not been formally identified, was pronounced dead at the scene on Allington Lane, Fair Oak, on Thursday afternoon.

Hampshire Constabulary said next-of-kin had been informed.

Police said a silver Skoda left the road and landed on the railway tracks at about 12:35 GMT.
