Southsea driver killed in Waterlooville dual carriageway crash

A 25-year-old died after hitting a motorway slip road barrier in the early hours.

Oliver Walton, from Southsea, crashed his Vauxhall Astra on Tuesday at 05:45 BST when driving on the A3 northbound junction four at Waterlooville.

He was taken to the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth but died of serious chest injuries.

The slip road was closed for four hours, and police are appealing for witnesses.
