Three injured in four-car collision on A456

Three people have been injured in a road traffic collision involving four cars in Worcestershire.

Emergency crews were called to the A456 near the Royal Forester pub in Callow Hill, near Bewdley, at about 1330 BST.

A couple in one car were taken to hospital suffering rib pain and and suspected spinal injuries.

A woman in her 70s had a fractured right ankle and chest and back pain and the occupants in the two other vehicles were uninjured, a crews said.

One lane was reopened at 1430 BST and the second just before 1630 BST.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact police.
