Fire exercise at Kidderminster leisure centre
People are being warned about a fire service training exercise being planned at a Worcestershire leisure centre.
The test at Wyre Forest Glades Leisure Centre in Bromsgrove Street, Kidderminster, will take place from 1830 GMT on Thursday, 25 November.
Two fire engines will be there and the exercise aims to familiarise crews with new breathing apparatus equipment and test guideline procedures.
The fire service said people would be able to use facilities at the site.
The service added it wanted to alert residents "in order to avoid any unnecessary alarm in the community".
The exercise will be held in the service area of the leisure centre, away from the main public area.
Fire service watch manager Simon Cusack said he wanted "to reassure those planning to use the facilities... that they will be able to do so as normal, and that any activity they see involving our fire crews is likely to be part of the training exercise".
