The Big Chill festival raises money for Colwall pupils

Primary school children in Herefordshire have a new 'Forest School' after money was raised by a music festival.

Organisers of the annual The Big Chill, Festival Republic, used money spent by Colwall residents on discounted tickets to raise the money.

Children at Colwall Primary School now have an area of woodland which will act as an outdoor classroom.

Organisers said 75 residents took part raising £1,875.

The Big Chill event is held in August.
