Capsized canoeists rescued from Severn weir barrier
Two canoeists who capsized close to a weir on the River Severn were rescued by a passing dragon boat team.
A woman was dragged into the weir barrier when her canoe capsized at Diglis Lock, Diglis, in Worcestershire at about 1350 GMT on Sunday.
Three other canoeists tried to rescue her but were dragged under themselves.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said a man and a woman were rescued by a dragon boat team. The other canoeists swam to the bank.
