A man suffered burns to his hands as he tried to put out a fire in a car which was destroyed in the incident.

The blaze in the Reliant Robin in Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire, was believed to have started after a fuel supply fault, the fire service said.

A crew brought the fire, on the Bickley to Newnham Bridge road, under control after being deployed on Friday morning.

The man was taken to hospital by ambulance after firefighters gave him first aid at the scene in Bickley.
