Threatened Worcestershire bus routes given reprieve
The number of bus routes under threat in Worcestershire could be reduced following protests from the public
The new plans would cut the number of services withdrawn from 72 to 25.
Councillor Derek Prodger, from Worcestershire County Council, said they would now hold another public consultation.
"The changes to the proposals show just how vital these exercises are and how highly we value the feedback gathered," he said.
Under the new proposals, savings would be achieved by changing hours of operation, service frequencies and routes on some services.
Worcestershire County Council's original consultation attracted more than 2,500 returned questionnaires and over 100 written responses, along with 24 petitions.
