Morrisons roof collapses in hailstorm in Leominster

A supermarket in Herefordshire had to be evacuated when part of its roof caved in during a hailstorm.

Customers were asked to leave Morrisons in Leominster on Monday evening. A shopper said water was pouring through the ceiling.

Bill Moss, whose partner Dawn was in the shop, said water came through roof panels which then fell to the floor.

Morrisons said no one was hurt in the incident and the store will reopen on Tuesday.
