Man re-arrested over death in Longdon

A man in his 70s has been re-arrested on suspicion of murdering a 59-year-old found with serious injuries in Worcestershire.

Robin Chandler Troughton, from Longdon, was discovered by police at an address in Bushley near Tewkesbury on 3 April.

He was taken by air ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, where he died on 22 April.

A man in his 50s remains on police bail after being arrested.

The man in his 70s was in custody at Castle Street Police Station in Worcester on Tuesday.

He was originally arrested shortly after the incident and released on police bail while inquiries continued.
