Herefordshire Lugwardine Bridge repairs means delays

Motorists are being warned they can expect delays as maintenance work begins on a historic bridge in Herefordshire.

Work on a damaged retaining wall on the Lugwardine Bridge on the A438 will begin on Monday.

Traffic lights will be in operation for up to three weeks and drivers are advised to take alternative routes at busy times.

The bridge dates back to 1690, and was widened in 1824.
