New church and housing for Droitwich Spa

A better community centre and a replacement church are part of plans to regenerate at Worcestershire town.

Wychavon District Council has been looking at ways of revamping the Blake Avenue area of Droitwich Spa.

The council said it wanted to deliver more housing, improve the community centre and shop and reduce anti-social behaviour in the area.

About 15 affordable housing units will be built as well as another 13 private houses.
