Hereford men attacked with stiletto heels

Two men have been injured in attacks by a woman who hit them with the stiletto heel of her shoe.

One victim had to go to hospital for tests to determine the extent of an eye injury following the separate incidents in Hereford on Friday evening.

The first was in Broad Street, leaving the victim with injuries to his head and back.

The man who suffered an injured eye was attacked a short time later in West Street.

West Mercia Police said the attacker was one of a pair of teenagers walking through the city centre.

They were both white, aged about 18, and carrying their shoes in their hands.

Det Con Mel Carrington, said: "These appear to be unprovoked attacks and there is some suggestion that this female and her friend may have had other scuffles in High Town on the night."

She asked for any witnesses to come forward.
