Book blaze at Holme Lacy tackled by fire crews

A large pile of books caught alight in Herefordshire and firefighters were sent out to extinguish the blaze.

About 50 sq metres of books stacked on a pallet were on fire at Shipley Gardens, in Holme Lacy.

Three fire engines were called to the tourist attraction at 23:10 BST on Tuesday.

Crews were still at the scene on Wednesday morning and no-one is known to have been hurt.
