Motorcyclist dies in car collision at Callow Hill

A motorcyclist has died after apparently colliding with two cars in Herefordshire.

Paramedics were called to Callow Hill on the A49 in Hereford at about 17:00 BST on Friday.

The man suffered significant, multiple injuries and was in cardiac arrest when crews arrived. He was later confirmed dead at the scene, a spokesman said.

A woman from one car was shaken but did not require hospital treatment. No-one else was injured.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "On arrival crews found a motorcyclist who had come off his bike after reportedly colliding with two cars.

"The man suffered significant multiple injuries and was in cardiac arrest.

"Unfortunately it quickly became apparent to crews that nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead on scene."
