Man injured in freak cow accident in Westfield

A man has suffered a broken jaw in a freak accident in Worcestershire.

It is thought a cow kicked a gate, which hit him in the face.

Crews were called to a field on the A4103, in Westfield, Worcestershire, on Thursday morning. The man was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.

The victim, believed to be in his 50s, suffered various injuries and was left unable to speak, an ambulance spokesman said.
