Part of M5 closed after lorry crash
Part of the M5 motorway in north Worcestershire was closed following a crash involving a lorry.
The northbound stretch was shut between junctions 4A (M42) and 4 (A38). The link road from the M42 southbound to the M5 northbound was also closed.
It is thought a lorry travelling southbound crossed the central reservation just after 08:00 BST.
Diversions and delays were expected until 17:00. Part of the M5 southbound was also shut.
The motorway was closed for resurfacing work and was expected to fully reopen by 22:30 BST.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said the lorry driver was taken to hospital with a neck injury and nobody else had been hurt.
