Woman 'critical' after van crash in Worcester

A woman is in a critical condition in hospital after she was hit by a lorry in Worcestershire.

Paramedics were called to Barbourne Road, in Worcester, at about 13:30 BST on Monday.

The woman, aged in her 30s, suffered severe leg and pelvic injuries, a spokesman said.

She was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth hospital in Birmingham and a doctor flew with her to try to keep her in a stable condition.
