Pershore fatal crash: Motorcyclist is named

A man who died after his Harley Davidson motorcycle was involved in a crash in Worcestershire has been named by police.

Dentist Evan Aled Jenkins, known as Aled, was travelling along Defford Road, away from Pershore at about 16:00 BST on 2 October.

The 52-year-old father of one from Stonehouse, in Gloucestershire, is then thought to have fallen from his bike before hitting a blue Audi A6.

He died from his injuries at the scene.

The driver of the car, a man, was uninjured but was treated at the scene for the effects of shock. He did not require hospital treatment.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police.
