Whitbourne shooting: Woman released on police bail

A woman arrested on suspicion of cultivating controlled drugs following a shooting has been released on police bail.

Police were called to Leigh Sinton in Worcestershire on Wednesday. A man in his 20s was found with gunshot wounds.

The shooting is being linked to a burglary in Whitbourne, Herefordshire. Police said cannabis plants were later found at a property in Whitbourne.

Three others have also been arrested, police said.

A man, aged in his 60s and from Herefordshire, arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and the cultivation of controlled drugs, remains in custody, police said.

Another man in his 20s arrested for burglary on Wednesday in Leigh Sinton remains in custody.

A man in his 20s arrested on suspicion of burglary on Wednesday in the West Midlands also remains in custody, police added.
