Cows trample two people at Herefordshire farm

A man and a woman have been trampled by a herd of cows at a Herefordshire farm and taken to hospital.

The man, in his 60s, had a chest injury and suspected arm and pelvic injuries following the incident between Ledbury and Leddington, Gloucestershire.

The woman, believed to be in her 50s, had suspected fractured ribs.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the farm on Friday evening. The man was airlifted to Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

The woman was taken by land ambulance to hospital in Hereford.
