Impact of rogue traders in Herefordshire revealed

About 600 people a year in Herefordshire are victims of rogue traders, a council has said.

Herefordshire Council said it receives about 60 complaints over a 12-month period, but believes only one in 10 victims complain.

Police and the authority patrolled roads on Tuesday and Wednesday to look out for criminals purporting to be legitimate tradespeople.

Elderly people have been given advice on how to deal with rogue traders.
