Appeal to restore Stourport canal boat

An 80-year-old narrow boat is being restored to become a tourist attraction on a Worcestershire waterway.

The charity, Stourport Forward, bought the boat, named Bramble, from British Waterways for just £1.

Now it needs to raise another £7,000 to pay for the materials to restore the vessel.

The hope is that it will become an attraction and learning centre, once it is back in the water at Stourport Canal Basins.
