Worcester City Council's Lib Dems and Conservatives sign joint agreement
Conservatives and Liberal Democrats on Worcester City Council have agreed to work together "to ensure a stable administration".
The Conservatives lost overall control of the council in elections last week, but remain the largest single party.
The agreement is not a formal coalition, although both parties said that remains a long-term option.
The memorandum of understanding means the parties will work together on key, shared policies.
The parties said they would prioritise areas such as the economy, housing and the environment "for the benefit of the citizens of Worcester".
