Paralympic flame welcomed in Hereford

The Paralympic flame has been welcomed to Hereford as part of an event to celebrate the 2012 Games which begin next week.

The flame was brought to the city by Whitecross teenager Cameron Wood in a lantern that was lit from a cauldron in Trafalgar Square on Friday.

The 15-year-old has hydrocephulas, a brain condition, cerebral palsy and is visually impaired.

The event took place at The Royal National College for the Blind.
