Care worker Emma Clarke jailed for stealing from patients

A care worker from Worcestershire who stole more than £4,000 from elderly patients has been jailed.

Emma Clarke, 29, of Bromyard Road, Tenbury Wells, previously pleaded guilty to two counts of theft and two counts of burglary.

She was accused of spending more than £2,600 on one client's debit card between July and November 2011.

Clarke, who longer works as a carer, was jailed for 12 months at Worcester Crown Court on 23 August.
