Leominster Community Hospital halts visits after Norovirus

Two wards at Leominster Community Hospital have been closed to visitors after an outbreak of the winter vomiting bug Norovirus.

A spokesman said other areas of the hospital are open as normal.

Anyone who has experienced symptoms of diarrhoea or vomiting in the last 48 hours must avoid visiting any of the hospitals in the county.

Members of the public are requested to practice good hand hygiene to prevent any further spread of infection.
