Herefordshire flood rescue brings safety warning

A fire service has warned motorists about the dangers of driving into floodwater after two people became trapped in a car.

Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to Norton Canon in Herefordshire just after 10:30 GMT.

A specialist water crew from Leintwardine took part in the rescue.

Station Commander Alan Haley warned motorists not to "put themselves at risk" by driving through floodwater.
