Man badly injured in Kidderminster roof fall

A man in his 50s has been seriously injured falling from the roof of a house in Worcestershire.

Ambulance crews said the man had fallen two storeys from the roof of the house, in Lea Bank Avenue, Kidderminster, shortly after 1030 GMT on Saturday, on to a concrete floor.

He suffered what West Midlands Ambulance Service said was a serious head injury.

The man was taken by air ambulance to Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
