Herefordshire Council is meeting on Monday to decide on plans that could lead to more job losses and changes to bin collections and children's centres.

It has to make savings of £36m over three years and this will be reflected in the budget for 2013-2014.

Earlier this month Philip Price, deputy leader of the council, warned up to 100 jobs could be lost, in addition the the 280 posts closed in the past two years.

The union Unison said it would fight any further job cuts.

A public consultation by the Conservative-controlled council included proposals to change refuse collection services, reduce library and customer service centre opening hours, the cancellation of some public transport routes and reductions in funding for children's centres and tourism.
