Herefordshire measles cases hits 2012 total

The number of measles cases in Herefordshire so far in 2013 has equalled the figure for the whole of 2012, health chiefs have warned.

The total number of confirmed cases is still in single figures but concerns have been raised by NHS bosses due to the current outbreak in South Wales.

NHS Herefordshire warned that one in five children in the county are not currently immunised.

It wants parents of those children to consider getting them vaccinated.
