Charge over Bromsgrove carving knife stabbing

A man has been charged in connection with an attack in which another man was stabbed with a carving knife.

The 50-year-old man was stabbed in his chest and under his arm in the attack in Hartwood Road, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, on 27 June.

He has since been released from hospital.

A 63-year-old man was initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, but has since been charged with wounding with intent.

He is due to appear before Redditch magistrates on Tuesday, 16 July.
