Three men have been charged with murder after a man was found dead at a house in Hereford.

Stacy Hales, 35, of Belmont Road, Stephen Munn, 20, from Golden Post, and Mark Edwards, 22, of Prior Street, have been remanded in custody.

The trio are due to appear at Hereford Magistrates' Court on Wednesday morning.

The victim, who was found at an address in Ryelands Street on Saturday, has not been formally identified.

A woman arrested on suspicion of murder, Kim Horry, 20, of Ryelands Street - a different address to where the man died - has been charged with assisting an offender, police said.

She has been bailed to appear before the same court at a later date.

A man in his 40s and a woman in her 20s who were arrested on Sunday on suspicion of assisting an offender, were released from custody on Monday on police bail pending further inquiries.

The dead man was found at his home address by West Mercia Police officers responding to a report of an assault, the force said.
